City hotel with pool?

I am looking for a good city located hotel in Rome that is close to museums and attractions that has a (preferably outdoor) swimming pool. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

It's not a place that I would choose near the Vatican for starters), but this place, Hotel Marc'Aurelio shows a photo here - - http://interhotel.com/italy/en/hoteles/104061.html - - with an outdoor pool clearly visible.

A hotel with a good location in Rome, and a swimming pool seems inherently incongruous. Like wanting to find a submarine that has a swing set.

Best wishes,

Rex

I just booked the Boscolo Exedra, a 5 star hotel in Rome, which is near Termini Station. It has a rooftop pool. I got a very good rate on Orbitz, much less than I saw anywhere else. You can check out the hotel at boscolohotels.com, and it's gotten very good reviews here and on tripadvisor.

Other possibilities are the Aldrovandi Palace and the Parco dei Principi...both hotels located in the Borghese Gardens area....not as convenient to the usual tourist-thronged sites as other "downtown" hotels but both these places have excellent outdoor pools.

Someone else asked a question about the Hotel Art in the past day or so - - I was not very familiar with it - - but I did find this web page: http://www.hotelsrome.net/detailed/H...-DI-SPAGNA.asp - - and it does mention this:

"Off-site services and facilities -
Jogging track / indoor pool"

So maybe a central location can be had, and still have ACCESS to a pool.
