cirque de soleil
Saw a performance by this troupe last nite on tv and could not believe it! It was one of the most incredible shows I have seen. Does this originate in China? Does anyone know about this group - do they tour?

We went to see Mystere in Las Vegas with our three children. Our smallest was 4 years old at the time, and thought it would be a problem, but had to take him along because we had nobody to leave him with. He sat thru the whole thing without moving an inch. The best part, when the drums slowly descend from the ceiling, booming ominous and mysteriously.
Since then, we are Cirque du Soleil nuts, and have all their records, that have lyris mostly in French, Italian and Spanish.
Our boat is called Quidam in their honor.

Ana

I saw them last summer in the Seattle area. The most exciting, spectacular show I've ever seen in my life.
We had front row seats, and a slutty little female clown in a tutu sat in my husband's lap and cooed in French. One of his fondest memories, I'm sure.

Posting from the hotel in Luzern...
there is also an IMAX film on Cirque du Soleil--definitely worth checking out.
