Cinque Terre to Paris, need help!!
We are finishing off our Italy trip with a few days in Cinque Terre and then off to Paris for our last six nights in Europe. We're trying to figure out the best way to get there in the least amount of time and transfers. We've thought of train to Nice and then fly. Or perhaps a ferry to Corsica and fly from there. Any suggestions? This is for May.

Book a sleeper on an overnight train from Firenze or Milano to Paris.

Certainly a ferry to Corsica, then a flight, isn't the quickest way. Probably isn't the cheapest way, either, but I haven't checked discount airlines. You've been given a suggestion for overnight sleeper train; you might also train to Nice and take the TGV to Paris. You wanted "least amount of time and transfers," and you didn't mention that cost is a factor. If cost is not the overriding consideration, get a train to Milan or Genoa and fly from there. Good luck.

If you want there is Ryanair going from Pisa (1hour from Cinque Terre and with railway aside the airport) to Brussels (200km from Paris and with Thalis/TGV trains very well served). The flight could be cheaper than the trains!
