Cinque Terre to Florence Driving Time

Has anyone driven from Monterosso, CT to Florence? If so, what is the approximate driving time?
Thanks!

Specify 19016 Monterosso al Mare and Firenze in viaMichelin and you will get the distance and driving time.

Mapquest says 2 hours, 120 miles, but I can see it taking longer depending on time of year, traffic, etc.

If you are driving you might want to consider a hotel away from the center of florence that has free parking and shuttle service. In Oct./07 we stayed @ Sheraton..Reasonalbe, shuttle every half hour (three stops), free parking and breakfast. Other shuttles we saw in Centro were STar Hotels, Hilton..Check them out. parking and driving are BAD!!!

amer_can,
We're planning to be in Florence for 2 nights and want to use our hotel points for 2 nights at Sheraton Firenze Hotel & Conference Center.
I've read on Trip Advisor web site that this hotel provides shuttle bus to downtown and it takes about 20-30mins to go downtown. Do you if we can catch bus to go back to the hotel in the evening (around 8PM). Also do they have free parking since we'll be driving?
Thanks

europenut, your questions shouldn't be tacked on the end of thread about driving times. You should start a new thread or, better yet, email your questions to the hotel.
