Cinque Terre Accomodation Suggestions
 

Travelling to Cinque Terre tne end of June and having trouble finding accomodation. Any suggestions or recomendations? Maureen

La Spiaggo has great views, required half-board and fantastic location. Nice, not special rooms. 5 Terra (the name they actually use) has good location, just barely perceptible sea views and small, but nice rooms. Both locations have pleasant staff and are in Monterosso. La Spiaggia has better views and 5 Terra nicer (but smaller) rooms. There are certainly others (even nicer), but these are two you might be able to get into at this late date. You can negotiate non half-board at 5 Terra, not at La Spiaggia.

Maureen, try staying in Portovenere. It is a charming little town just before the Cinque. Has a few hotels, try The Grand Hotel Portovenere, it has spa services as well. We are going in August and can't wait! <BR>Have fun!
