Cinque Terra end of Sept. 2015

Jump to last reply

Does anyone have an idea of how much I can expect to spend on lodging, per night in the Cinque Terra region, late Sept. 2015. I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of budget for travelling to this area. Not interested in fancy, ritzy hotels or activities. More laid-back, casual, enjoying the local scene and flavor. Will the area still be packed with tourists? Is it still warm? I am travelling with my sister and we have about a week and a half to explore. Will the weather still be good for hiking and beach? After we vist the CT region, we would ike to see any areas you may recommend. We may stay in the Riomaggiore area then explore from there, but no definite plans yet. We are open to suggestions. First time for both of us travelling to Italy. Flying into Florence from the states so we are thinking of one or two nights in Florence, then head to CT, then explore wherever you may suggest. Tuscany or Elba Island perhaps? We are both active adults. Please help with budget and suggestions. Thank you so much!
