Cingue Terre walk

We want to do this walk in Oct. or early Nov. We are in our 70s and would like to know how difficult the walk is. Just returned from Austria and did some slightly difficult mountain hiking which was fairly challenging, but took our time. Is there any really difficult climbing or descending? Know this is subjective but from 1 - 10 (hardest) where would this rank? Any suggestions on accommodations around 100E/nite would be appreciated. Thank you.

topping - i've done the walk and though there are some climbs it seems your Alpine experience would have been as or more difficult IMO

When we did this hike it was January, and we started in Monterrosso where there was a fairly strenuous immediate climb (mostly stairs), but after that it wasn't too bad. Just make sure you stay on the trail, as there were a few places where we weren't sure which way the trail went. It was definitely worth it, and the views were incredible, especially when you look down upon the different towns from above. Rick Steve's has a pretty good description of the hike in his Italy book.
