Tim--a few of us did. The posts roll down as new ones are posted or answered. Right now it's number 11. Just scroll down and you'll find your original post.

DO A SEARCH! There have been many threads about the Channel Tunnel (NOT the Chunnel) and the Eurostar.
Tim, see that search box up there? Put the word Eurostar in there and click on Go.

I took Eurostar London to Paris and return in May 2002. I went first class for 120 pounds round trip. I booked it at www.eurostar.com. They won't mail tickets to anybody outside UK, so I used the address of my hotel and notified my hotel they were coming. A better option might be to have the tickets held for pickup at the station.

I found it to be very comfortable and convenient. First class probably was not worth the extra money, but I got a special. The accommodations in standard class looked just fine. The train arrives in Paris at Gare du Nord, and there is a Metro entrance right in the station. Very convenient for getting anywhere.

What else would you like to know?

Waddaya bet Nov 3rd, 2002 07:04 AM

Waddaya bet he posts this question again becuz he can't find this one or the other one?

You made me smile, Wanda, because of course, you know he already did it. Tim, if you are here, use that search box up above. To find this thread and the other one you started when you couldn't find this one, enter the word chunnel. To find out more about the chunnel train from London to Paris, enter the word Eurostar in the search box.

Then come back to thank and apologise to the nice people in both threads who took the time to answer you.

My name is not Nov 3rd, 2002 10:55 AM

OK, wiseguy Nipsie, you enter chunnel in the search box and see if you get these two posts. I don't!!!!

this indexing thing is so bad Nov 3rd, 2002 11:32 AM

You probably will get this post if you search a day from now, or a week, or a month.

Maybe.
Nipsie Nov 3rd, 2002 07:49 PM
Sorry, Wanda, I mean Waddaya.

Hey, xxx, I just found these two threads again by entering chunnel in the search box. Maybe you are misspelling it? :-)

xxx Nov 4th, 2002 04:32 AM

I am spelling it "chunnel", entering it in the box, and have tried clicking "general interest", UK, and France individually in conjunction, but these two posts do not come up. Lots of others do however.

ok Nov 4th, 2002 04:35 AM

Don't include the region. (It must not be catalogued yet?) Just type "chunnel" and click on find.
