chunnel ticket
Should I purchase chunnel tickets in advance of my trip to UK in December. How much are they?
|
Absolutely purchase in advance go to website and research deals. I just spent half of my last day in Paris arranging passage at Gare du Nord for travel friend to go to Brussels. You get a better break and you need to reserve a seat before hand anyway. Wait and you might get stuck in First class. I think there is a break for 21 advanced purchase, go to website.

I think you can get a fare as low as $120 according to globe trekker episode on paris. I could not see date of episode though so I don't know if this is old info.

Thanks, do u know the website I go to?

I used "Mele" twice now, a Hawaiian travel agent (even though I live in Denver) who got me $94 tickets and sent them to me promptly).
Her web site is http://www.meleterc.com/ Mele's e-mail is [email protected] and she will get right to you quickly. The best thing to do is buy a RT ticket and just "not go back". A one-way ticket is $125 or so, and a RT advance "leisure fare" (if it's still available) is $94 and up -- you just throw away the other ticket. Happy travels, Jules |
