Chunnel from London to Paris

Can anyone tell me where you get the chunnel is it in London or Dover? Does the chunnel take you into Paris? Is there a website with departure and arrival times for the chunnel and prices?

We are planning a trip to England and would like to go to Paris for the day? Thanks.

The chunnel train (Eurostar) - runs between Waterloo Station in London and Gare du Nord in Paris in 3 hours. You're under water 20 minutes. For fares, schedules go to:

Common guys - what is this chunnel train business. You either have the Eurostar (London Waterloo/Paris Gare du Nord) Passenger train or the Shuttle which runs between Folkstone and Calais and on which you drive your car. Both trains use the Chunnel, the tunnel under the Channel. Sorry but being a fussy Brit I want you guys to know!!

I've never heard anyone (other than an American) call it a chunnel either.

Yes, I think chunnel sounds very ugly. I've never heard it used in France or the UK.

Chunnel was definitely used in UK anyways but only way back when they first started building it and not really since the services have been launchyed as they have brand names now, as mentioned above, Eurostar and Shuttle.

But does it really matter too much as long as we know what people are talking about?

We all knew Gloria what was asking...
