it is your holiday. I don't know when you'll be back and such.
I could do your initial trip. It is short and rushed. Personally I think people saying to cancel Bruxelles are wrong it is a splendid city. You could at least stop and visit the grand place and around. 4-5 hours would then suffice.
I have never been a fan of Amsterdam but it is nice. I agree that I got utterly bored in London at that period. We could not even find a restaurant open and ended up eating fish and chips at the bar of the hotel (delicious).
Bottom line : do as you wish. Or select 2 cities and make it more relaxed. But do stop at Bruxelles !
