Christmas in Rome

Hi,
My family will be in Rome on December 24 and 25. Does anyone know if the Jewish Synagogue and restaurants will be open?

Looks like the synagogue is open this year since neither day is a Saturday.

Thank you. Since the site is in Italian I could not read their schedule.

You'll find restaurants open on the 24th and 25th.

Christmas in Italy is not like the US - in Italy they celebrate the three kings in January. New Years Day everything is closed.

If you go to Piazza Navona on the 24th and 25th you'll find a wonderful Christmas market and restaurants behind, on della pace and piazza fico, where the locals will be eating.

Da Franceso is always a good bet around the holidays!
