Christmas Dinner suggestions?
 

My husband and I will be in Innsbruck during Christmas time. Does anyone have a recommendation for a restaurant for Christmas dinner? Yes, I'm that excited for my trip I'm planning this far in advance! Any other helpful Xmas time hints would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We are planning a similar trip around Xmax (See post Xmas in Austria. What went in to your selection of Innsbruck? We were thinking about Vienna and Salzberg -- but would you advise flushing either for Innsbruck - and if so Why? Thanks.

I think you will find that virtually all restaurants except those in hotels will be closed on Christmas. You will probably also find this to be the case on Christmas Eve, and to some extent on December 26. The week between Christmas and New Years is a major holiday here in Europe. I would ask your hotel now for any recommendations of restaurants that will be open during those times.

Our main reason for picking Austria, specifically Innsbruck was to go skiing for about 4 days. We'll also be renting a car and driving to Salzburg and to a few places in Germany!
