Christmas: Brasov or Bucharest?
 

As a solo female traveler, I will be on my own during the Christmas holidays in Romania. I am hoping to find the best location to go to a church service, and also to find someplace open for a meal on Christmas Day. Is one city better than the other for celebrating the holidays?

Have not spent Christmas in either, but Brasov is a lot more charming than Bucharest. I would contact one of the hotels and ask about Christmas celebrations and openings.

Brasov has the "black" church, which would be a nice place for a service, but you don't specify denomination.
