Christmas at Royal Albert Hall

My husband and I will be in London over the holidays and are looking for things to do. I have found that on Christmas Eve, there is "Carols by Candlelight" at Royal Albert Hall. Has anyone been to this? Is this something that would be nice and worth our time?

P.S.--Please excuse the double post if you've already seen this; having trouble getting it to post to the correct forum-UK.

well it sounds great fun, and the Royal Albert Hall is a great experience anyway – a cavenous and unusual concert hall.

To Sherry: just info for future reference, there is no "UK Forum". All threads post to the same "Europe Forum". Clicking on UK simply allows someone to search for information about GB/UK. And yes, definitely go to just about anything at the RAH

Sherry - I was in London about 10 days before Christmas last year and saw a Christmas concert at Royal Albert Hall. I did not see the exact concert you're referring to, but I think Christmas Eve at Royal Albert Hall would be very memorable. The music & atmosphere were wonderful.
