Christmas

Hi, we are travelling to Europe with our 7 children aged 12 - 22 for Christmas. 6 weeks all up. Christmas will be in Austria, we are staying at Kurzgasse. We are wondering where would be somewhere special for Chrsitmas dinner. FYI - The rest of the trip includes Italy, Germany, France, England Ireland and Scotland.

You have a very specific question about Christmas dinner in Kurzgasse. I would re-post with that in the title.

"Christams" could be asking anything about Xmas travel anywhere in Europe . . . .

Note - in Europe, the big holiday dinner is Christmas Eve. That should be booked in advance so that you are not "shut out." Many places are closed on Christmas night, so make reservations for that as well.

Note- that last note does not extend to the UK, which is part of Europe. There amy be other bits of Europe where it doesn't apply either.

sheila - good point. I was thinking of Germany and Austria and (if I remember right) France. I should have specified countries and not generalized! Sorry!

Do you mean Kurzgasse in Vienna?
