Christian Constant's Cooking Class

We're headed to Paris in July and I've seen several postings about Christian Constant's cooking classes. Does anyone know if there will be any in July? We'll be staying in several ParisPerfect apartments (due to late booking we are going to get to stay in three of their apartments--should be fun to see the differences) so I know the location will be a great convenience for going to one of the classes. How long have the classes been going on and is each class different? Also, how large are the classes and are they strictly demos, or do we get to 'play'? Is it cost effective to take my teen-aged daughter? She loves to cook but I'm worried that she'll get bored if she's just sitting and watching.

Curious to see your replies. I am also interested in the answer. I found his web site but could not find specific info regarding classes....dates? size? cost?

My daughter and I took his cooking class several weeks ago. It is absolutely fabulous. He is offering one the first Monday of May and June. I don't know about July. Just call his restaurant or e-mail them. His wife, Catherine, is British so you can speak to her. The cost was E185 per person and that included lunch. It's E140 without lunch. Recommend having lunch. Our class had a woman with 14 or 15 year old daughter and she really enjoyed it. We also stayed at Paris Perfect - you can look at their site under comments - I did a short report on the class yesterday. Hope this helps.

Benitakaren: I just read what you wrote on the sight--I hope my vacation goes as well as yours! I will contact Christian Constant directly to find out about the class.

Glad to hear that you were so happy with the apartment, too. It is reassuring to hear the positive feedback as renting an apartment is quite a leap of faith.

Catherine saent me the list for April, May and June....just e-mail her and ask about July and a reservation.

Since you're staying at a ParisPerfect apartment, just email the owner - she's the one who initiated the cooking classes that Christian is now giving.

StCirq: The ParisPerfect owner organized the cooking classes? I hadn't realized that. OK, I'll just ask her as she's been really good about replying to my questions. Thanks!
