Choosing between 4 lodgings in Provence
After two nights at La Feniere, located between Lourmarin and Cadenet, we have two nights free before heading down to Cassis for three nights at Le Jardin d'Emile.
In our two free days, we'll probably want to do a driving tour to either Chateauneuf de Pape, Orange, Uzes, Pont du Gard or tour up around Vaison-la-Romaine. On the second day, a Wednesday, perhaps go to St. Remy for market and tour surrounding area. (My choices would be clearer if the Michelin Provence map I ordered had arrived!)
Hotel choices: Le Chateau de Mazan has garden room or jr. suite available; Domaine de Valmouriane has suite; Chateau des Alpilles has a room (awaiting details); Auberge La Regalido, waiting for reply. We prefer spacious, beautifully appointed rooms in scenic location near a town or in a small village.
If Chateau des Alpilles has a reasonable sized room (their best ones are taken) I'm thinking that the Chateau and location offers the best combo. Please opine on the relative merits of these 4 lodgings/locations.

We love the Regalido. Have stayed there 4 times. The chef/owner is very sweet.
The food excellant. The dinning terrace very attractive. The daughter has a boutique in the auberge with new and vintage stuff. They also sell wine which was convenient for one night when we were invited the last minute to someone's home.

Robbie, until your map arrives, this will give you an idea of where you are trying to book:
