Choosing a Parmegiano Reggiano Dairy Farm to Visit

Anyone have a good suggestion of which dairy farm to visit to see the cheese being made, tasting, buying, etc.? And please mention why you chose IT as opposed to any of the many others. Having difficulty choosing and I am reading that you must make a reservation so I need to make a choice and get going - we leave for our trip in a few days.

Many thanks

Well what are your choices? If you are trying to choose between the hundreds officially producing, then start with location, availability (not all accept visitors), and language; that will pretty much limit your choices. The official site lists a smaller choice of those available for non-business visitors and they are spread over 4 provinces. Look at that map, choose the closest ones to where you'll be, then start checking if they speak english. If you end up finding one, you'll be lucky.
