Choice of two apartments for short stay in Paris

We are able to rent one of these two studios for 4 days in Sept. Does anyone have any familiarity with either? One is in St. Honore, a more upscale neighborhood near Champs Elysee and the other is in more lively Montmarte. I am a little concerned about safety in Montmarte in the evenings.

The studio in Montmarte is offered by InBeuaParis https://www.dropbox.com/s/57d0ecl9rw...Montmartre.pdf

The other in St. Honore is offered by Residence-Paris

I don't know the specific apartments but if limited to only these two would choose the St Honore for location. Neither is really central but with only 4 days the Montmartre location is some distance from central Paris. The St Honore flat is near the beautiful Parc Monceau.

Is this your first trip to Paris? If you want to see the major sights a central location will save a lot of time in your 4 days.

Thank you for your response. This is not our first trip to Paris. I like the idea of staying in an apartment rather than a hotel and it seems to be a better value. But there are not very many apartments available for short stays. I am not comfortable that the Owner requires full payment in euros at the time they hand over the key.

I think that it is pretty standard to pay up front. I've rented apartments from different owners in Paris several times, and that is just part of the contract. Usually you have to pay a percentage at the time of reserving as well.

Slw,
I've considered this place in the past but ended up renting an apartment. It seems more like a hotel with kitchenettes,

Might work for a short stay and be more central.

Look at Vacation in Paris website they do not have a minimum stay and you pay in US dollars at booking and get the key before you leave home.
