Chinese Restaurant Tricotin Paris

I hope you see this Kerouac -
I am getting my Chinese eateries listed for our next trip. Restaurant Tricotin recommended by yourself was one we never got to. I did a little 'googling' and wondered why they referred to it as Restaurant Knitting? Is this just a messy translation.? ? I found the article really quite funny and it convinced me more than ever I had enjoy their superb cuisine. Two Asian styles each with its own kitchen - impressive to say the least!

Without the edit function I can't check this but here goes......

Tricoter is the French verb for the activity of knitting, as in "to knit".

Next time you have a URL this long, go to www.tinyurl.com, input the long one and get as a result a manageable short version, like this:

Much obliged DalaiLama!
Thanks for the explanation - I was totally intrigued by their reference to 'knitting'!

Do you happen to be chinese restaurants experts? I'm looking for a really good place (having an important dinner) but don't know what to chose and how to judge whether the chinese restaurant is a good one. If you could help me find something in my area (I live in Boston) You could help me choose one of those

I'd appreciate any help. I might be an expensive one.
BTW, DalaiLlama, I tried to use your tinyurl.com but it only messed things up and I couldn't enter the destination.

Hi DL,

Your tinyurl worked for me.

I like the way the machine translated the name to Restaurant Knitting.

Ha ha, that is too funny that Google translations would take the 'tricot' (knit) out of 'Tricotin'. I have actually never eaten there (as I said in the post that mentioned it -- I was just drooling through the window) because they don't accept French luncheon vouchers. That won't be a problem for visitors!

And I will repeat again that my favorite restaurant in the area is La Lune which is only one block away.
