Chianti from florence

MY fiance really wants to go to a winery as a day trip from florence. cAn any of you make a recomendatiuon of how we would go about getting to chianti. We really would not like to drive our selves so if anyone can recomend a tour for the day or a driver, but I think that would be too costly. Thanks everyone, planning this honeymoonb is gettign to be overwhelming.

We took one of the CAP tours (www.captours.com). It was a half day tour and was really fun! We only went to one winery; an old castle type with wines and olive oil. We toured the caves and the castle then were seated at tables in the beautiful garden for tasting. They brought several bottles of wine, each with some kind of snack or appetizer to go with it. It was a great day!

captours.com seems to be a us based operator. Any other suggestions. Do these tours give you a feel how the wine is made etc.
