Chez George on rue du Mail experiences?
A resident in Paris rec. this restaurant in the 2nd, and I wonder if anyone has eaten there. Prices run 25-30 dollars per person and it has been around for a long time. Please tell your experiences. Merci.

I have not personally eaten at Chez Georges, but I can tell you that it came very highly recommended by the gentleman from whom we rented an apartment in Paris. I'm sure some other helpful Fodorites will soon share their experiences.

Dear MAP: His name is Michael, a most wonderful American gentleman with a most wonderful Parisian apartment in the 7th behind the Musee d'Orsay. You can view the apartment details at www.chezmichelaparis.com. I am a huge fan of this flat - deluxe in every way!

Elsiejune,
I have read of his apartment and it does sound impressive. Thank you. I believe Chez Georges sounds like the ticket. You might look at Terry Avery's site as we rented his studio...very nice. (myhomeinfrance.net)
