Chez Fernand - rue Christine or rue Guisarde location?

These two restaurants of the same name garner good reviews. I gather that the one on rue Christine is the original. Do they both have the same menu, and is either restaurant better than the other one when it comes to food and/or ambiance. Thanks.

I believe the rue Christine location is the original location, but I don't know how it is. I had dinner at the rue Guisuarde location and really appreciated that the staff were friendly and patient. Food was good too and locals were dining there.

Thanks. I just read that one on rue Guisarde is actually the original. I appreciate your comments.

Oh, thanks for the information. I didn't realize that that's the original location.

I stayed on the Rue Guisarde in September, and the street is FULL of good restaurants-just pick one-Fernand being one of them, but one I liked even better was "L'ENFANCE DES LARDS" -really good menu that changed daily, house-made desserts, not open on Sundays or Mondays-this was recommended by the proprietor of the residence where I stayed. The restaurant brought me, without asking, an entire carafe of water with lots of ice, which was much appreciated, after being out all day tromping around.

We had two very good meals at the one on rue Christine in Aug./Sept. The ambience is small and intimate.
