Cheese or Pottery?

Is it possible to visit Delft, the Hague and Gouda in 2 nights while staying in Delft?

Your plan must be to visit two of these places in one day, and a lot depends on exactly what you want to see.

Delft and the Hague are a tram-ride apart, but each contains a lot to see if you're interested in art and history - the Hague in particular). Gouda I've never been to (not sure what - if anything of great note - is there to see), but it is about an hour away by train from Delft, changing at Rotterdam - see www.ns.nl (click on the 'English' link at the top of the page).

I'm not sure how much research you've done. Gouda is a pleasant enough town, but nothing too special in my opinion. From your title, if you're interested in cheese, I'm aim for the cheese marked at Alkmaar, on Fridays. It's really a lot of fun.

I had read that Gouda was a quaint little town worth stopping over but wanted to hear from any of you your personal experiences there.

My husband and I will most probably stay in the Hague and do Delft and Gouda as day trips. I am dying to visit the ceramic factory!

We visited Gouda a while back. It was a very nice 1/2 day.

We learned how it's pronounced. :)
