Cheese fondue in Lucerne

We will be in Lucerne for only one evening and would like to have traditional cheese fondue. Any suggested restaurants would be appreciated.

Many years ago while in Lucerne and craving cheese fondue, we just wandered down to the lakeside restaurant area, chose one and the fondue was terrific. I'll bet that's true in all of them. If no one can direct you to a particular restaurant you won't have any problem choosing one. Very scenic area to dine.

I had fondue several times when I was in Lucerne. Just ate where ever and it was all good. Doubt you could really go wrong.

We too just picked a lakewide restaurant, and aside from the high price (wow!) enjoyed the food very much.
