Cheapest, fastest way from Marseille to Barcelona?
 

The Marseille-BCN train takes about 6 hours! Going back to Paris via TG and then flying seems too much of a hassle, though requires less time. I know that Air Madrid flies from Nice to BCN but I can't get the website to accept my dates!

And those dates are?????

Not quite sure yet- probably 18 sept. I prefer to leave in the morning.

Apparently Czech Airlines (?) and Air France fly from Marseille to Barcelona. I found it on Expedia.fr. The travel times don't look that great. You'd get something better if you went through Paris!

pavfec is right, it's the one and only direct flight, a codeshare between AF and Czech, listed twice but it's the same flight:

Czech Airlines??? And the AirFrance ticket is way over my budget. :-( The only train to BCN from M leaves at 3pm and apparently takes a good portion of the day.

I already tried whichbudget.com, which didn't even list Czech Airlines and AirFrance. No direct flights from M to BCN.

What about taking the train and leaving the day before? You'd get into Barcelona in the evening and you'd need a hotel room.
