Cheapest/easiest way from Milan to St. Petersburg
What airline(s) offer service from Milan to St. Petersburg? Are any lower priced companies covering this route (or something close like Milan-Helsinki)?

This may seem only minimally helpful, but on www.europebyair.com I found Frankfurt-Tallinn on the $99 fare map.

The train ride from Tallin to St. Petersburg is about 10 hours. We did it in the reverse and overnight. I would prefer to do it in the day time because the overnight compartments were quite seedy and unlockable. That was 7 years ago, so things may have changed.
