Cheap n cheerful accommo Paris
 

Hi there,

Done a search. Found recent posting re budget twin/double under 100US.

Everyone's "budget" is different. I'm looking for something cheaper.

I've stayed in Madrid for 35euros; Barcelona for 45; Copenhagen for 48; Valencia for 19.

Now who can tell me where to get a single room in Paris for under 40euros.

I don't mind the bathroom being down the hall - in fact I prefer an old style place, as long as the rooms have windows that open.

Good location would be a bonus.

In some of the above cities I just arrived and found somewhere but on this occasion it will be late (after 2230) so would like to reserve in advance.

I gave you the contact information for the Hotel Esmeralda on your other post...not sure it will be that cheap but give them a try. I stayed for weeks on a couple of visits to Paris...they have different grades of rooms...location cannot be bettered...directly facing Notre Dame!

Hi, try booking.com and ryanairhostels (includes Band B's and small hotels)for cheap rooms in Paris and other cities.

Another possibility is Perfect Hotel and Hostel, located in the 9th. Single rooms with shared bath are 40 Euros a night. http://www.paris-hostel.biz/ Gets decent reviews on TripAdvisor.

Didn't our long ago and far-away Fodorite Op111 or 111OP... stay at the Tinquetonne and really enjoyed it?
