Cheap Hotels London: Springfield or Hyde Park?

My friend and I are going to be in London for a couple days in April. We're on a verrrrry tight budget. Have any of you heard of these hotels?

They seem to be connected to each other, and the prices seem fairly reasonable. Are they good places to stay?

Melissa
I checked the web and found that the hotels you noted have a rack rate of 70 to 80 pounds per night.
As you are on a tight budget you may want to obtain a non binding reservation at one of these hotels and then shop the internet for a better deal. you have several months so this should not be a problem.
I returned from london last week and was able to obtain a room at the Thistle London Ryan for only 44.26 pounds plus VAT. Total cost for two persons including the best full English breakfast we have ever had was 364.04 for 7 days = 52 pounds a day including VAT.
After firming my airline tickets in May for an October 28 booking I shopped the internet for several weeks and found a short term listing over londontown.com advertising the London Ryan at this reduced rate.
I made our reservations for October checkin back in June. If you use Priceline watch for the extra cost for their booking and they probably won't include breakfast.

I'm planning a trip to London in March. I've found lots of hotels with good rates on www.hotel-london.co.uk.
The site also has lots of very helpful guest comments on many budget hotels.
