Cheap hotels in Dublin

The reduction in the number of American tourists in Ireland has created some good bargains for visitors.Jurys hotels (www.jurysdoyle.com) are offering rooms in their hotels from $65 in the Inns to $100 in their 4 and 5 star hotels on selected nights.
You can attend DA in the Abbey Theatre for $15-25 too.

I stayed in Jurys in Dublin on two occasions at the Westbury. It is a fine modern hotel very well situated right in the centre of town, just off Grafton St.,the main shopping centre and about 300 yards from Trinity College and St. Stephens Green.

I just picked up on a 99 euro special at the Westbury in Dublin for three nights in early August. I understand they have just finished a 6.5 sterling renovation to everything. Has anyone stayed in their standard rooms. What has been your experience? I know the location is primo.

Thanks

If you can stay at the Westbury for 99 euro it's a steal! They are far superior than than Jurys and literally just off graftin street. They also have just refurbished it and they have a lovely afternoon tea and there are some great pubs in the area around tyhe hotel. How did you get such a cheap rate? I am interested for some friends visiting.
