Cheap Hotel for Group
 

Hello. I'm taking a group of 16 students to Europe this summer and we need a good hotel for 2 nights in Vienna in mid-July. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are looking for something from 50-75 Euros/night.

My mother in-law began taking her 16 students there at my suggestion last May and loved it. She is now getting ready to return to the Fuerstenhof with another group of students later this month. Great place with a very nice staff and big breakfast buffet is included.

Do a search in goggle under youth hostels--they'll be lots of places.

Thanks for the help. I think we're looking for something a bit nicer than a hostel. We can pay up to 115 Euros/night for a double room. Any thoughts on the Seasonal Hotel Atlas (Saison hotel Atlas)?

You might want to try the Vienna Tourist Office - they do have people who will help with group arrangements - recos are no charge.

Try Academia and Avis Hotels on Pfeilgasse. They are college dorms during the year, but in July & August they are open to the public. A good deal, with breakfast. Nice & clean, I stayed there about 10 years ago. Go to www.academia-hotels.co.at
