Cheap Fly/Drive packages for May-June
 

Just got an e-mail that contains great deals on fly/drive packages (with a mobile phone thrown in) from Autoeurope for May-June.

"The star of the show is a $287 (plus tax, per person, for two) package including flights from New York to Brussels, three days' car rental any time during your trip and a cell phone, good for flights between May 15 and June 15.... Other than the NYC-Brussels fare, they all apply on flights from April 1 through May 31, and include three days with a tiny car and a cell phone for the duration of your journey."

I was really excited about the fares, but I need to fly JFK to Klagenfurt, Austria and they do not fly into KLU, so I was disappointed.
They also told me when I tried to book a car with them, that they will not supply me with a car for KLU. I thought they provided cars just about everywhere in Europe.

Sorry it didn't work out for Sher, but there may be others here who can still take advantage....

Ryanair flies into KLU, I think.

Thanks Rex. I was reluctant to go the Ryanair route because I am traveling with my five year old niece. It has been many years since I had a young child in tow
I actually ended up booking Airfare.com from JFK-KLU with only one stop in Frankfurt. United $1480 for two after June 15. It was more than I wanted to pay, but the best fare I could find with very good times and connects.
But tell me if you can. Why are cars in Austria so expensive?
Actually, I would appreciate anyone telling me if they have an opinion.
