when is the best time to get cheap roundtrip airfare from Boston to Munich for travel in December during Christmas time. Wait till September or get them now?

Please let us know if you ever find out. It is the Holy Grail of travel mysteries....(forgive the sarcasm!!).

What are you getting now? The best fares for that rouite and dates are around $600. Set yourself an upper limit from $600; if you find a fare equal or lower for the dates you want, lock it in. Germany is a very popular winter destination.

However, the best fares will be on flights taking place on the 24th and the 25th. :-)

I am kind of locked into leaving Dec. 19 returning 31. If I leave the 18 it's more. Prices are about $800!

Right now, the price sounds o.k. Most of the time it will get more expnensive over christmas, if you wait, however you never know...
