CHEAP B&B near Dijon? Help, SVP!

Hi!

I'm looking for a charming inn or bed and breakfast less than 30 minutes northeast of Dijon. If you've stayed at such a place, it would mean a lot if you could tell me about it.

I'm just overwhelmed by the variety of chambres d'hote and hotels de charme and I haven't the foggiest idea of where to book.

The catch is I don't want to spend more than 60 euros per night. Thanks!

Chicagalore suggested a great place to stay in Dijon. I'm the second vote.

Coco, nice as she and her place is, i believe runs about 100 euros

and her limit is 60 euros and she should be able to find a place cheaper than that as well, depending on season.

and i should have added Coco's at 100 euros seems worth every penny of it considering location, type of flat and Coco herself!

By ALL accounts, the 100€ at Coco's is worth it.

Thank you my friends, but if we stick to what stive is looking for, we have to stay outside Dijon. Why north east? Are you looking for a particular place? It is "wilder" than the south with the wine coast (no vineyards in the north). Also when are you travelling? (Beware of the snow on small roads)

Michael has a good idea with gites de France. http://www.gites-de-france-cotedor.com/carto_dyn.php?
Not far from Dijon http://tinyurl.com/2qo4sd
North west of Dijon http://www.laclefdesbois.fr/

Try also Logis de France Bourgogne
http://www.logis-de-bourgogne.com/en.../find-on-a-map

Close to Dijon I like this one (the restaurant is quite good and it is in a quiet location) http://www.lamusarde.fr/

On www.cotedor-tourisme.com you'll find more as well.
Good luck and please come back to tell us what you found!

Spending 60 Euros a night may seem a bit unrealistic in Burgundy. However, back in 2003 I stayed at a lovely inn/restaurant about 6 miles north of Dijon: LA MUSARDE in the village of Hautville les Dijon. The rooms start at about 47 Euros or so during low season: http://www.lamusarde.fr/

I assume that you will be renting a car...correct?

How funny Langcraft, this is the one I mentioned in my previous posting. I'm glad you stayed there and let us know you liked it. I know the restaurant only...

They definitely need a car!
