Cheap B&B/Hotels/Apartments in London?

I am staying in London for 4 nights and need a relatively cheap place to stay. I am staying alone, and 21 years old so I need something relatively safe and in a good part of town. Any ideas of where to stay? Thanks!

When are you making this trip? The London School of Economics makes its dorm rooms avaiable to travelers when its students are not using them. If you are traveling during typical school holiday times, look up the LSE on the web.

Otherwise, you need to be more specific about what you mean by "relatively cheap." Your top dollar or pound amount would help.

as mentioned, LSE and other schools do rent out their student housing. Mostly during term breaks but some even all year round.

But for a budget traveler in London, you really can't beat PriceLine. You can get REALLY nice 4 star properties for less than some school accomodations or most basic B&Bs. And they will be in more central locations.

Check biddingfortravel.com to see what hotels are going for what rates.

Another source to look for London student accommodation:

I would wholeheartedly recommend Priceline if you want to spend a little extra money, but you'll probably be able to find a student room with a shared bathroom for 20 pounds.
