CHEAP airfares on Northwest!

Hey, kids --

I just landed a flight for late February on Northwest from San Antonio to London for an unbelievable $451 roundtrip, tax included. I didn't check other cities of origin, but it might be worth a shot.

Yes, I know what the English weather is like in February, but hey -- suffer the chilly rain at home, or suffer the chilly rain in London? That's a no-brainer!

Good luck, and happy travels,
Linds

This is great! Bon Voyage!

(and a co-worker just asked me how come I travel so much, I gotta show this to her!!)

I know how you feel at work, Faina. I'm getting my first set of vacation days in February (after 6 months at my new job), and first thing I do is take off for London for 10 days. My co-workers (not to mention my family) think I'm crazy, too, but sometimes you just have to do crazy things in life!

Hope that tip on airfare helps some people. I just thought it was too good to pass up!

Hey Linds. I too am going to London in Feb for a few days. Just need a break. Chilly rain will be ok. I hope my situation at work doesn't prevent me from following through. I got $384 from Newark to London on Virgin.

I got a fare of 420, with tax, on NW for travel in March...it expired March 31 and was for weekday travel. Check and see if you can travel in March...not summer, but perhaps better than Feb. lst year when we were in london in Feb, it SNOWED every day. it was really cold. And I am from minnesota!

We got a great fare too. From Minneapolis, into Amsterdam and out of Paris in March for $475pp. I couldn't believe it!

Sounds like everyone's getting good deals! That's great. It seems like there are never any specials to Europe from Texas, so I'm feeling pretty smug at the moment!

I'd love to go in March, but I'm coordinating everything to coincide with one of our work holidays so I don't have to burn a vacation day. We're off President's Day -- gotta LOVE working for county government!!!

Flyboy -- thanks for the tip! I can always use bonus miles.

Have great trips, everybody!
