Cheap airfare between UK/Ireland?

Hi, I would appreciate any pointers to cheap airfare between London and Belfast. I know about Ryan Air but it does not seem to fly to Belfast. Any other carriers? We will be coming into Heathrow and would like to get to Belfast as soon as possible. Are there any low cost carriers that leaves from Heathrow instead of Gatwick?

Help greatly appreciated!

Try www.whichbudget.com to locate your flights. BMI is one airline but there are others.

For the best low cost deals, you are better out of Heathrow. Neither EasyJet nor Ryanair fly our of Heathrow.
The airports of choice would be Stansted, Luton and - to a lesser extent - Gatwick.
I know that EasyJet fly to Belfast.

Sorry, meant "better off not going out of Heathrow".

I think you can fly BMI from Heathrow to Belfast for about 100 GPB return.

Flybe fly to Belfast from both Gatwick, and Southampton, but what you may gain on the fares, you are likely to lose on the transfer costs.

Try ebookers.uk for your London/Belfast trip.

EASYJET have 4 flights daily from Gatwick, 5 from Stansted and 5 from Luton:

Thanks for all the tips!

We actually need to fly from London to Belfast to go to a family wedding, and then Dublin back to London.

I'm wondering if it's just easier to fly to Dublin and drive the 1.5-2 hours to Belfast?

Thoughs?

Judy - There are some good one-way fares to Belfast on these airlines if you're flexible with departure times.

Check them out for your dates.

You can get a train between Belfast & Dublin.

When my husband was working in Dublin & paying for his own flights, a budget option was to fly to Belfast with Easyjet then get the train to Dublin. From memory he thinks it takes c.2.5 hours.
