I am a student looking for an inexpensive way to get to Amsterdam this summer. The best airfairs I have found have been in the eight to nine hundred dollar range. Does anyone know of any good web sites or special deals that can help me with this? <BR> <BR>Tim

If you can get yourself to Toronto or Miami (both cool destinations in their own right), then try www.canada3000.ca or www.citybird.be - - best if you can leave earlier in the summer than later. And Alitalia still has really cheap fares from NYC to Rome or Milan until June 15 (though Italy is not very close to Amsterdam!) - - see www.frommers.com today.

I have consistently found the cheapest fares at cheaptickets.com. Not always the most ideal flights, with long layovers, etc. - but cheap. However, you are traveling in peak season and thus tickets will be fairly costly. Buy as far in advance as possible.

Try Airhitch.com or Airtech.com if your <BR>travel times are flexible. Check out <BR>STA.com which specializes on student0 <BR>travellers. Use Lycos.com or Excite.com <BR>to research some more on the Net re: <BR>cheap airfares. You'll be surprised how <BR>much resources/info is out there to help you travel on the cheap. Happy hunting!

Try www.priceline.com if you are sure you are going. (you can not cancel or change your times) I purchased RT July tickets from Chicago to London for a bid <BR>of $325 each. (they added taxes which made the tickets $400 each) Make sure you read the directions and choose to have only one layover. I was pleased with the price and the times.

check with cheaptickets.com.. i purchased r/t to london and was very happy with the price... i do not have long lay overs!
