Chauffer services between Heathrow/London
 

Will be traveling to London in October and seek recommendations on a car service to transport a family of six (adults) between Heathrow and our hotel. An internet search shows many offerings at varying prices.

I've never used them, but I believe the one most people recommend on Fodor's is www.justairport.com

The two best are probably justairports mentioned above, and London Transfers http://www.london-transfers.com/

I've used both and both are very good. Often justairports is cheaper - but get a quote from both. Last May for 6 adults from LHR to near the Tower, Ray at Skinner at London Transfers was significantly better.

It may be because of the group size.

I've used justairports in the past, but on my last trip had a very unpleasant driver (to say the least), so I'm going with Ray this time. That said, I've not heard of anyone having a similar bad experience with justairports.

We used london transfers in June and were very happy with the service.

We were very pleased with Eddir Manning..www.limo.co.uk. Our London apartment rental agency recommended him to us.

Just got back last week and we used just airports to get to Heathrow. Excellent service and he arrived promptly. We had also used them a few years ago from Gatwick and back and we were also pleased with their service. For two people with a couple of pieces of luggage, justairports was cheaper than Ray Skinner.
