Chatsworth tour with London Walks?
Has anyone taken the Chatworth/Peak District tour with London Walks? I've just been scanning there website, and I would love to go back to Chatsworth on another day-out tour.
We originally went with Midland Mainline, but they no longer offer this tour.
How were the guides? How long were you able to stay at the house?

It may be a long shot that you will find anyone here that has been on this walk. I believe they only run it a few times each season, so there probably only a few dozen people each year that go on it.
I suggest you email David Tucker at London Walks and ask him how long the tour spends at the house. My experience is that he responds promptly to queries.
As to the competency of the guides, I have done a couple of dozen London Walks since my first in 1993. In all cases the guides have been good to excellent. I would expect that Hilary is just as competent on this walk as she is in the walks she leads in London.
