Chateau Hotel Mont Royal - Paris

Has anyone ever stayed at the Chateau Hotel Mont Royal outside of Paris? I am considering their "Last day in Paris" special. Thanks!

We had a lovely brunch there several yaers ago. It looked like a very nice place to spend at least one evening/night.

We stayed there as our "last day in France" two years ago and enjoyed it very much. The rooms were comfortably large; most have balconies and nice views of the countryside. The grounds are beautiful and it was very quiet-- a fairly large forest surrounds the place. It was an easy jaunt to CDG in the morning. No negatives for us other than cost, and even then we thought that it was well worth it. Their web site is pretty accurate-- what you see is what you get and no unpleasant surprises.

We did not eat there, so I don't know about the food.

The Chateau Hotel Mont Royal has two wings: a modern one and the "castle" one which only has a few rooms, more expensive of course.

The location is nice, although there is no real park for wandering. They have a small but nice indoor pool. The restaurant is OK.

On the other hand, this hotels caters mostly to groups/seminars/conventions during the week. So you may have a feeling of "crowd" and lesser service.
