Chateau hopping
 

I have just been invited by a French friend who lives near Paris to go chateau hopping with her!

Our trip will be about 10 days within the time frame of May 10th to June 10th.

I'm hoping our experts here can tell me if there are any National holidays or other big events in the Loire valley that would cause larger crowds in the area during this time period. I would like to avoid those days if possible.

Are you talking about this year? If so, Pentecost and Whit Monday are holidays that fall May 11-12.
