Chartering bus in France
 

Can anyone suggest a charter bus company for travel in Ile de France and the Loire Valley? I am trying to find a small bus or large van with driver for a week in September. No one found on the web is responding to my emails.

Most companies list their phone numbers - so if you don't get an answer, I'd call.

Have you booked your rooms anywhere yet? If so, you might ask your hotel if they have any information or could help you establish contact with a company.

I was actually hoping for a recommendation from people who have chartered buses in France, or who have taken a trip on a bus charter.

OK - Your last post confuses things a bit. Are you asking about chartering a bus/driver - or just about group tours?

It's funny how this turned out. I didn't receive a response from one of the bus companies I emailed in France.

I say it's funny because recently I chartered a bus in Ireland and had a wonderful experience dealing with the bus company (Butlers Buses out of Cork).

I am putting together small group tours for people in the area where I live. I tried to charter a bus in Ile de France/Loire Valley for 6 days. No one replied to my request. What does that say about how much the French want Americans to come to their country this year?

Think I'll just stick with tours of Ireland.

It says nothing about Americans being wanted or not. What a weird assumption.

Did you try to phone them? Your posts here were not totally clear. Maybe they were also confused.
