There are a number of "Charming Small Hotels in Tuscany and Umbria" paperback books for sale at Half.com. (Although Half.com is run/owned by eBay, there's no bidding involved.)

Hope that might be what you're looking for.

Thankyou very much. I will try to get one through them. I am in Australia so the mail from the US is pretty slow.I am going to Siena in August so I need to book something soon. I'll keep hoping for more responses. Sally

sallypl,

You don't say how long you will be ther, but if its min 5-7 days, weekly rentals might be a nice alternative. There are many websites. Just do a search :rentals, Tuscany/Siena. Don't miss Montereggione. perfect little walled city outside Siena.
buon viaggio

If you live near a big city, the local library will have the guides. The New York Public Library has tons of copies in many of the branches. My smaller town library (suburb) even has a copy. They also participate in the library inter-loan system so they can obtain books from other town libraries. You should usually use the library as your first resource and then plan to purchase only what you truly want to take with you - like a good map!

My copy is from 2001, but lists in Siena only Certosa di Maggiano and Palazzo Ravizza.

This site is not related to the Fodors Rivages guide (which may the one you're seeking), but it does have some listings for Siena: Palazzo Ravizzi and Certosa di Maggiano.

You might try typing "charming small hotels tuscany" into google or yahoo australia to see if you can find another on-line vendor that carries it that is more "local" to you.

PS: On the other hand, if this *is* the book you want, you can order it directly from the puyblisher on the site listed above.
