Charles de Gaulle Airport to Montparnasse Station

I'm flying to Paris next Friday arriving at 21:10, I then need to get to Montparnasse for a 23:00 train.

As far as I can tell I'm going to miss the last Air France bus that goes direct to Montparnasse as I think it leaves the airport at 9pm. Can anyone suggest the next best/quickest way of making the connection?

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Hi,

You can take the RER B3 to Metro Denfer Rochereau and change to the no 4 metro direction Porte de Clignancourt or no 6 direction Etoille.

See http://www.ratp.fr/index_eng.htm for schedules and details.

YOu should take a taxi unless you have no luggage. A taxi would be quicker than fooling around with the RER/metro, also.

I plan to use the RER from Denfert Rochereau next time we go to Paris, and it is indicated to be a 45-min trip to CDG from that stop. They run about every 10-15 minutes. It seems like there is a good bit to know about all the steps from the terminal to the RER stop (navette? shuttle?), buying a ticket, navigating, changing to the metro, then navigating Gare Montparnasse, especially if you haven't used any of these modes before.

It does sound like a taxi would leave least room for error...but markmat, you can use www.ratp.com to get the route/itinerary for the RER/metro from CDG and see what you think.
