charging an IPOD

Does anyone charge an IPOD on the airplane?
Where did you buy the charger?
TIA!

I've charged my iPOD using my laptop when plugged into 110V AC on an airplane many times.

And I've used the same 110V to charge the IPOD as well using the standard home charger. This was on Lufthansa.

I've not used the under-seat 15VDC power ports found on AA and other airlines.

I bought a universal charger for an IPOD that can be used to charge it without a laptop (if I am not schlepping that). For Europe, you just buy the adapter plug and that's that. Most devices have universal chargers available today if you don't want to bother with the laptop. I think I bought mine from Magellan, but they should be available all over the internet for a google.

Hi.
I've found the battery operated ones thru differint internet dealers but we're leaving for Rome on 3/29 and couldn't find one that would expediate the shipping.
On Magellen, the charger got a bad review.
Someone posted that they used it on a trip to Fiji and used all their batteries, including the ones that brought for their camera, and the IPOD still was not charged and would not recommend it.
What was your experience?
TY!

The IPOD charger I bought just plugs in and does not use batteries. It works fine in the US, but I have not used it in Europe yet.

My US charger accepts input voltage from 110V to 240V, so I just plug it in in Europe using a plug adaptor and it works just fine.

Check the white cube charger that came with yours. If it says 110V-240V, or something similar they you just need a plug adaptor for use in Rome.
