Changing trains at Brussels Midi

We are scheduled for a 10 minute train change at Brussels Midi station to get from the
TVG train coming from Lyon to a THALYS train continuing to Amsterdam.
I know the two systems share some platforms but is 10m minutes OK?
Has anyone done that particular train change?

It should be enough time, but check the platforms where you will be arriving, and where the Thalys departs.
The belgian rail site is www.nmbs.be.

I have changed a few times at Brussels Midi between Eurostar and a local train, and 10 minutes was plenty (and from Eurostar, it's a longer walk).

That is IF the TGV train is on time and it is not unusual IME for it to be 10 minutes or so late - why schedule such a short tranit time if you have non-refundable non-changeable tickets on Thalys?

If you miss the Thalys you have booked then eschew the Thalys and hop IN trains Brussels to Amsterdam as they have a flat fare - walk up ticket on Thalys - cheaper fares are generally non-changeable I believe - walk-up fares can be dauntingly steep.

10 minutes normally would be more than enough - as the various non-Eurostar train platforms are clustered together.
