Chance of aurora tonight and tomorrow

For the first time in a very long time there has been a powerful Solar storm. There is a good chance that the aurora will be visible tonight and tomorrow night, even as far south as the Netherlands, so anyone out there level with us or further north - keep your eyes peeled tonight

(Also posting this in the lounge for the Canuks!)

Is East Angular above or below the Netherlands?

I fell asleep! We had cloud cover near Washington DC so maybe tonight? I think we are too far south but it was mentioned on the all-news station here. As a child (50s) I remember having northern lights in Salisbury Md. Anyone else remember this in Maryland??

East Anglia is about level with the Netherlands. the further north - so Norfolk/northern Suffolk you are the better the chance of seeing them.

It clouded over here last night and it is horrible here (17C rain and windy ) today so my chances of seeing them are very small.

I went out last night, but didn't see them, even though it was fairly clear.

I will try again tonight (though it's also raining here at the mo it has to be said).

Uh.., no. I think DC is about as far south as Spain. Maybe you can make your way to say, Newfoundland, by tonight?

I think I saw on the ABC news tonight that it could be seen in Wisconsin, as well as somewhere else north of that - they showed the pictures. I wasn't paying too much attention, as I live in Miami! It would be wonderful to see, though.
