Champagne Route Festival Aug 2018
 

I have read about the Champagne Route Festival. I'd like to go next August (2018). I can't seem to find much information about it.

1) Recommended place to stay? I see Bar-sur-Aube; Troyes; and other small cities
2) Car service for hire in the area? I do not want to be drinking and driving
3) I assume the dates would be the weekend of 4-5 August 2018. Should I arrive early/ stay late?
4) Best way to get to Bar-sur-Aube from Paris?

You can take the train (INTERCITÉS) from Paris to Bar-sur-Aube. A 1st class ticket is as low as 20€ each way. The trip takes a little over 2 hours.
